Peter Oswald was Writer in Residence at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, London, from 1998 to 2005. Three of his plays have been performed there, two at the National Theatre, his plays have also been performed in the West End, on Broadway and around the world. He is a founder member of The Abyss theatre company.
Peter began writing plays in verse in 1990, when he was twenty-

In 1997, Peter became the Globes writer in residence. His historical [and hysterical] play Augustine’s Oak being staged in 1999, and his version of a Roman Novel, the Golden Ass being produced in 2002.
Peters other plays include a version of Schiller’s Mary Stuart (Donmar Warehouse / West End / Broadway), The Odyssey and Shakuntala (Gate Theatre), Dona Rosita: The Spinster (Almeida) and Don Carlos (Lyric).
Despite his success, Peter felt restricted by what theatres were prepared to commission him to write and their approach to performing verse dramas – and approached Josephine Larsen.

Anthony John Crocker As a teenager I was inspired to become an actor by becoming involved in Anne Jellicoes community theatre workshops in Dorset. I caught the acting bug and trained at East 15 in London where I learned the method in a bid to follow my heroes Al Pacino and DeNiro.
After graduating I rocked for a year as the front man in the band Circus Renz, whilst
moonlighting as one half of The Brothers Hood on the comedy circuit-

Mark Gillham started his career performing regularly in seasonal rep. with Giant Olive Theatre Company based in Kentish Town, London.
